5. You want to help others grow closer to Christ.

All individuals should strive for holiness. Future priests undergo a lengthy and intensive formation period to help them grow in virtue and become effective in their ministry. If you are interested in the priesthood, speak with a trusted priest about your thoughts and feelings. He can assist you in further discerning your vocation and may recommend that you speak with the Vocation Director. Remember, true happiness and peace come from following Godโs perfect will for your life. If God calls you to be a priest, trust in His grace to guide you.
